Julie - Chair to Trustees
Julie joined as a Parent Trustee in 2012. Julie has been key to the partnership the nursery, including the Trustees, have with their parents. Julie provides a real nursery 'families' presence at formal Trustee meetings, acting as the parent voice. Julie was instrumental in gathering parent feedback when the nursery explored parent need for earlier opening hours, resulting in the launch of the additional service, the St Thomas a Becket Nursery Early Bird Club.
Darren - Treasurer to the Trustees
Daren is a Parent Trustee, a financial manager by trade, who has joined the Trustee Board to support nursery with the Treasurer role. We are very lucky to have his expertise in our budget setting and monitoring and advising nursery in their financial decision making
Cecilia - Trustee Secretary and EYFS Support Lead
A treasured staff member for 18 years, Cecilia retired in lockdown 2020. Following a period of respite during the worst of COVID, Cecilia re-joined the nursery in the Autumn 2021 as our Trustee EYFS Support. Cecilia is a fully qualified Swiss Kintergarten teacher, she is an illustrator and a story-teller extraordinaire. Cecilia also happens to have very green fingers and leads some amazing gardening projects with the children.
